MECA barometer movement (High sensitivity mechanism)
The slightest pressure change is detected by the barometer. Accuracy is ±2 hPa (millibar). hPa (hector Pascal) equal to millibar.
The movement of the barometer-pointer is amplified 1.5 times compared to the conventional barometer movement resulting in a more reactive and easy reading.
In the picture it is illustrated how the "amplitude" of the movement of the pointer is amplified in the Hi-Sensitive mechanism (160°) compared to the traditional barometer (108°).
